ABOUT
The Clinchfield Senior Adult Center is a non-profit organization that was chartered in 1975 when most senior centers were created because of the Federal Older Americans Act. The goal of establishing the senior centers was to allow seniors to remain a vital part of the community by creating opportunities for them through activities, programs, fitness, and more.
The Senior Center has been doing just that through a monthly event calendar, fitness center, fitness classes, educational classes, programs, outings, partnerships with local businesses, and usage of facility amenities. Our Senior Center has become a place where seniors age 50 and older can come together to serve and support one another.
We are grateful to all who have been and continue to support the Senior Center because it has allowed us to keep our membership cost down to $25 per year. We also have collaborations with United Healthcare through Renew Active as well as Silver Sneakers to provide free memberships to those who are eligible through those respective companies.
The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm with access to all facility amenities for our members. We hope to be a place of connection, possibility, encouragement, help, and care for everyone in our community, but especially our seniors!
